About Us

URJ was dreamed up by a family of coffee lovers back in 2016. We were the typical family with children, balancing busy work schedules with homework and extracurricular activities. In all the chaos, one thing was constant: coffee. And while roasted coffee served its purpose, as a food scientist, I knew there had to be a new way to enjoy this amazing fruit. 

 

A trip to Hawaii coffee plantation on family vacation provided the inspiration for the concept: what if coffee could be enjoyed in its natural form as a more wholesome beverage? How can the coffee cascara be used and not thrown away? After years of development and product trials, the formula was ready. 

 

This simple idea resulted in the roasted coffee alternative known today as URJ. Our product is crafted from organic unroasted coffee... the whole fruit. It is a natural way to fuel your day providing clean, sustained focus and energy. We offer simple flavor profiles to remind you of that fresh-squeezed experience with no brewing required!
